written for those tasked with implementing the Baby Friendly standards in their
neonatal unit. It is intended to provide a ‘road map’ for the journey towards Baby
Friendly accreditation, as well as tips and ideas that may be helpful. It is intended
to be read alongside the Guide to the Baby Friendly Initiative standards, which
explains the standards and assessment process in detail.
